Accountants - Leeds - Headingley

My other part in the collaboration is finding us an accountant.
We need a financial adviser to make our business a success.
Someone to help keep our books, help us keep up with tax and VAT, work out our profits and keep us on track financially.
We have all come to the conclusion that there is no way we could do this by ourselves, we are all terrible at maths and need someone to keep on top of this aspect of our business for it to become a success a venture which we will be able to live off.

I have talked to John about the different types of accountants and he has cleared this up for me.
A chartered accountant will help more in the long run if something goes wrong (e.g being sued) however they cost more.
For a start-up business we would profit more from getting a basic accountant who will cost less, and then change if necessary once we build up a profit.
We should also build up a relationship with this accountant so they know us and our business inside-out so that they can give us maximum service.

John also said to e-mail 'Business Link Yorkshire' to get a list of accountants who specialise in the design industry (graphic design, advertising etc...) as there are a lot of aspects to this business that a general accountant will not know anything about.
